Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) has an opportunity for an experienced, results-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to serve as a trusted financial partner to Global Technology’s Infrastructure & Operations organization.
Purpose and Scope:
The FP&A Manager, Global Technology (GT) Infrastructure & Operations will be responsible for planning, forecasting, reporting and cost management in support of this critical area. As a strong collaborator, this individual will work closely with the VP Technology Operations and team to effectively analyze and communicate the financial impact of strategic and operational decision-making. This role also works closely with GT senior leadership, cross-functional teams (e.g., Accounting, PMO, Procurement, Tax, etc.) and strategic third-party partners to ensure strong financial delivery of Global Technology activities.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Lead the annual Infrastructure & Operations budgeting process to secure senior leadership approval
+ Provide executive-level reporting on financial performance (monthly) and critical, detailed value-add analyses (as needed)
+ Build and maintain historical spend metrics and other Key Performance Indicators
+ Partner with Procurement to ensure proper approval of resources in order to minimize disruption of services
+ Establish and oversee procedures to ensure that vendors are only compensated for work performed and contractually approved
+ Participate and demonstrate leadership in cross-functional efforts within Finance to continually improve reporting, forecasting, planning, and analysis processes
+ Ensure proper financial governance processes are established and followed to protect ADM stakeholders
Key Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology (IT) or similar field; MBA recommended
+ 10+ years in diverse finance-related roles (experience with large, multi-national corporations a plus)
+ Experience in IT Infrastructure & Operations cost areas, including familiarity with Servers, Storage, Networking, End-User Resources (both cloud & physical) and Hardware/Software licensing and support
+ Working knowledge of Managed Services and time & material contract “SLA” requirements and related financial impacts
+ Functional knowledge of lease/purchase agreements and telecommunications a plus
+ Strong leadership and collaboration skillset with an emphasis on execution and driving results through influence leadership
+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an ownership mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on articulating complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of the organization - including at the executive level
