JOB SCOPE:
This pivotal FP&A Manager role involves overseeing financial forecasting, budgeting, data gathering, business analysis, and preparing monthly reporting packages for our business units and the consolidated company. This position will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage all aspects of the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process
• Prepare Executive Presentations in PowerPoint on a monthly/quarterly basis, including backup support and key talking points
• Provide monthly analysis and written commentary of operating results by plant vs. plan, forecast and prior periods
• Coordinate, develop and review short-range financial forecasts and plans to achieve financial targets
• Track and analyze corporate expenses vs. annual operating plan
• Drive financial modeling improvements in the planning and forecasting models to enhance process efficiency, support new initiatives and to accurately capture the changing economics or structure of the business
• Lead the development, roll-out and roll-up of the annual operating plan and quarterly forecast processes, including review and analysis
• Respond to ad-hoc requests for customized data and reports
• Drive financial modeling improvements in the planning and forecasting models to enhance process efficiency, support new initiatives and to accurately capture the changing economics or structure of the business
• Participate in cross-functional process improvement teams to promote operational efficiencies and report results to senior management
• Analyze Capital Appropriation Requests and oversight of entire capital process
• Analyze business cases
• Ownership of Plan and forecast data in the OneStream system
• Provide financial support for M&A activities
• Special projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned by the CFO or CEO
• Manage all aspects of the FPA team including providing leadership and development opportunities
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, or related disciplines; MBA or equivalent preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst with global, multi-site manufacturing
• 5+ years of experience Financial Data gathering, preparation, analysis, and distribution
• 3+ years of supervisor/management experience required
• Proven experience with Financial planning, recommendations, operating forecasts for various business units
• Exposure to multi-function database cubes (OLAP) would be preferred
• Excellent analytical skills (not just a reporting background) with the personality to challenge results when required
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, focus on advanced Excel
• High energy, well organized and process driven with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. Must be able to coordinate and cooperate across time zones and cultures
