We are seeking a skilled and motivated FP&A Manager with past Management Consulting or Finance experience in value-based care, Medicare Advantage, or Managed Care. This person will play a vital role in executing Sage Health's financial strategy, operations, and reporting initiatives and will have visibility to our ELT and private equity sponsors with whom they will often collaborate. This position requires someone with intellectual curiosity, exceptional attention to detail, strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities, and the ability to work independently as a self-starter. What you"ll do
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and analyze annual, quarterly, and monthly financial reports to be presented to executive leaders and board of directors. Support ongoing monitoring of our key financial and performance metrics.
Financial Modeling: Maintain and develop the company's financial models to support ELT and Board-level funding discussions, breakeven analysis, annual operating plan development, and long-range financial planning.
Payor Reporting & Relationships: Manage and review performance data from our Payor partners to monitor compliance with contractual arrangements; collaborate with Payors & our Medicare Performance team to forecast and monitor medical costs, STARs, and quality metrics.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts with support from the Accounting team. Collaborate with department leaders to gather relevant information and provide insights into financial projections and cost management.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate our financial processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Implement best practices and recommend enhancements to streamline financial operations.
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis in support of other financial and business priorities, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Team player attitude is essential; ability to be resourceful, creative, and collaborative.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor"s degree in Finance or related field.
5+ years working in an FP&A, management consulting, or similar role.
Previous experience working in value-based healthcare and/or specifically Medicare Advantage related programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey financial information effectively.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Previous experience at a start-up or healthcare company is preferred.
