Fractional Controller - Robert Half

Description We are seeking a hands-on Fractional Controller to join one of our client's team in beautiful downtown Coeur d'Alene, ID. This is a flexible in-office role (3 - 4 days a week) where you will collaborate closely with the CEO. While you'll manage the day-to-day accounting functions, you'll also leverage your skills in financial analysis to help drive the company forward. You'll be an integral part of strategic meetings and have a voice in the company's growth. Key Responsibilities: + Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries + Collaborate with the CEO in strategic planning and brainstorming sessions + Perform financial planning & analysis (FP& A) to support decision-making + Maintain and enhance financial reporting and processes + Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements + Assist in budgeting and forecasting + Use QuickBooks Enterprise to manage financial data (experience preferred) + Work hands-on with spreadsheets; strong Excel skills are essential Requirements What We're Looking For: + 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a startup environment + Strong proficiency with Excel and financial modeling + Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise (preferred) + Financial planning & analysis (FP& A) experience is a plus + Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team + Experience working in a flexible, fast-paced environment + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Benefits & Compensation: + Pay: $50-$60/hour, depending on experience + Flexible, in-office position - 20 hours/week, 3-4 days in office. + No benefits offered as this is a part time role. + This position ideally would be a 1099 employee however could be W-2.
