A Team Home Services is looking for an experienced Framer to add to our remodeling department! As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in the construction industry, responsible for assembling the structural framework of buildings, homes, and other structures. Your expertise in reading blueprints, cutting and shaping materials, and precisely fitting components together will contribute to the overall integrity and safety of the structure.

A Team Home Services is looking for an experienced Framer to add to our remodeling department! As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in the construction industry, responsible for assembling the structural framework of buildings, homes, and other structures. Your expertise in reading blueprints, cutting and shaping materials, and precisely fitting components together will contribute to the overall integrity and safety of the structure.
Responsibilities:
- Study and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to understand the specifications and dimensions of the structure to be framed.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials such as lumber, plywood, and other building materials according to the specifications outlined in the blueprints.
- Assemble the structural framework of buildings, including walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs, using appropriate tools and techniques such as nailing, bolting, and screwing.
- Install structural components such as beams, columns, and trusses, ensuring they are properly aligned, leveled, and securely fastened.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. This includes the proper use of PPE and following safety procedures while handling tools and equipment.
- Work closely with other tradesman, including roofers, and contractors, to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth progress of the construction project.
- Properly maintain and care for tools and equipment used in the framing process, ensuring they are in good working condition and ready for use when needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or equivalent on-the-job training.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of construction and safety regulations.
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license
- Heavy lifting of at least 55 lbs
- Provide 3 references
- $15-$25 hourly
