Roles and Responsibilities:
Location/Travel Information
This position is based at the Client Facility, however, some travel to local off-site locations as required. This position requires the incumbent to hold a valid, unexpired driver license at all times in order to perform the essential functions of the job.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Supports Honey Experion and PLC engineering.
- Supports in the Management of Change process to ensure that risks from Process Control changes are properly identified and managed.
- Provide engineering and technical input during the development and/or revision of Process Control related standards, procedures, guidelines and plans as required to meet industry standards or regulatory requirements.
- Exposure to DCS regulatory control, loop tuning and basic compressor controls hardware and software such as Client Experion, CCC, Client Mark VIe.
- Responsible for conducting RCFA on Process Control equipment failures to eliminate or mitigate consequences.
- Responsible for conducting RCFA on equipment or programming failures to eliminate or mitigate consequences.
- Support Alarm Management program execution
- Develop as a subject matter expert on Process Control Systems engineering and SIS.
- Working knowledge of Engineering Codes and Standards related to Instrumentation engineering, NFPA, ISA, IEC and others by participating in engineering standards committees.
- Knowledge of Engineering systems, calculations, applications and operations methods and materials, and engineering application of computers.
- Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form.
- Ability to conduct efficient meetings.
- Ability to develop comprehensive scopes of work.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
****Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) Required****
5+ Years of Process Control Engineering Experience
1+ years of experience in an operating industrial facility
Bachelor's degree in engineering
The company is seeking a Process Control Engineer that will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, operation, monitoring and maintenance of industrial control systems (ICS) in an Client facility, with supervision.
Competencies
- Experience with Client Experion, Safety Manager and PLCs
- Safety Instrumented Systems certifications or course work
- Detail oriented, professional, and reliable
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software.
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines
- Basic project management and supervision skills.
- Possesses knowledge of engineering fundamentals in more than one discipline.
- Possesses basic knowledge of cross-functional project execution.
Work Environment
- Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.
- Operates in a professional office environment within or outside of an industrial plant environment.
- Possible exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
- Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions.
- Possible exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits.
- Possible exposure to constant, or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction.
- Routinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and radios.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $60.00-70.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Must have a valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
