Job Description:
Position: Freight Claims Associate
Location: Onsite- Jacksonville, FL
Duration: 3 month contract
Pay Rate Range: $24/hr
Project Description: Looking for someone who has knowledge in processing claims. Responsible for the review and investigation of Service Failure claims. Works to collect records and other supporting documentation and provides liability recommendations for management and the Commercial team.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like: Review and analyze high value claims filed by the customers for service interruption, plant shutdowns, etc. to ensure carrier regulations, contracts, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, and adherence to company practices with regard to risk and liability.
Work with customers and claims personnel to resolve claims reconsiderations or rebuttals.

Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Customer Liability Claims
Plusses:
Bachelors Degree/4-year Degree
3 or more years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Customer Liability Claims
1 or more years of supervisory experience
