Freight & Dispatch Specialist - Geomet Recycling

• Coordinate Shipments: Manage and oversee the transportation of goods from suppliers to customers, including scheduling, routing, and tracking shipments.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Supplier and Carrier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and transportation providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective service.
• Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration and/or 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in freight planning or a related role. Prior experience at a TL or LTL carrier is a plus. 

• Strong organizational and a high level of accuracy. 
• Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations.
• Scheduling freight movement experience.
• Demonstrates a professional and ethical demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good collaboration and team working abilities.
• Ability to take direction well and great follow-through.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
