Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for helping manage outgoing freight to our customers for all TL and LTL shipments.
This position reports to the warehouse supervisor.
Essential Functions of this Role:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Operate electric pallet jack.
+ Compile and maintain various daily, weekly and monthly reports.
+ Coordinate with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers.
+ Assistin maintaininglogistics planning tasks.
+ Perform computer lookup/inquiries to determine product location and/or description
+ Stage material in proper location for shipment
+ Attention to detail and ability to follow directions to meet deadlines
+ Follows all safety and security procedures
+ Process freight documents and provide outstanding customer service.
+ Process all shipments via TL and LTL with HighJump, and/or any other shipping software.
+ Validate physical shipment attributes on all required export documentation.
+ Maintain and document departmental processes and procedures as necessary to reflect the current process accurately.
+ Communicate proactively with customers and their freight forwarders as required to facilitate transportation booking and shipping. This includes providing routing request instructions and tracking information to customers, freight forwarders, carriers, and other transportation intermediaries.
+ Communicate with transportation companies as required to arrange for transportation and to track shipments as required.
+ Meet or exceed accuracy and productivity expectations
+ Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary
+ Prepare orders by ensuring correct product/s and quantities are picked and prepared for shipment
+ Pack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary
+ Match invoices to shipping labels
Supervisory Responsibilities:
+ None
Work Environment:
+ Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations
+ Due to forklifts and other equipment traveling through the warehouse the environment can be noisy, dusty, may emit gas fumes and create excessive vibrations
Physical Demands:
+ Must be able to move around in a large, fast-paced warehouse for 8 or more hours
+ Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 75lbs frequently
+ Prolonged periods of standing and walking on concrete surfaces
+ Requires bending, squatting, climbing and reaching
+ Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
+ Team lift - carry, push or pull up to 100lbs frequently
Expected Hours of Work:
+ Must be available during standard operating hours, Monday thru Friday
+ Start and end times may vary due to operational need
+ Remain flexible with working schedules is required, to include working overtime, evenings, and weekends as there may be an occasional adjustment to meet the business needs

+ None
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or education
+ Forklift certification or able to successfully certification of forklift operation, training provided on-site
+ Must be a quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus and adapt to a variety of challenges
+ Positive attitude - work as part of a team and/or independently
+ Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relations with people in different functions
+ Active listening skills
+ Basic math, reading and voice comprehension is a must
+ Ability to read packs, order labels, other information and match to visible items and other data
+ Maintain regular attendance
+ Ability and disposition to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
+ Must be able interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to calculate mathematical values.
+ Must have a working knowledge of Internet software usage, order processing systems, inventory software and word processing software.
+ Must be knowledgeable in warehousing procedures.
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
+ Reliable transportation
+ Previous knowledge of replenishment and RF equipment a plus
+ Previous receiving experience preferred
+ Basic knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification, warehouse procedures and storage areas to pull stock and materials

Pay Range:
Starting Hourly Rate: $17.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
