Job Summary and Mission:
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for checking in/out guests, handling guest requests/concerns, answering phones, and being the first and last impression of our guests. The front desk is the "hub" of the hotel and is the primary point of contact for all guests. The front desk is a busy, fast-paced environment.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Checking in/out guests. Ensuring billing is set up properly in order to avoid guest billing issues.
- Answering the front desk phone and directing callers to the appropriate department or assisting the guest with their questions/concerns.
- Assisting guests with questions and requests.
- Communicating with the manager on duty and other departments as necessary to ensure hotel operations and guests requests.
- Other duties as requested.
Requirements:
- Prior hotel experience is preferred.
- OnQ experience is helpful
- Previous Hillton experience is helpful.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office are preferred.
- Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays (as needed) is required.
