Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the office manager, and alongside your front desk partner, the dental receptionist is responsible for the connection between the clinical staff and patients.
- Answer phones, greet and schedule patients, update patient identification, contact, insurance, and eligibility information.
- Check out patients and collect fees, as appropriate.
- Communicate effectively in a manner that promotes trust and cooperation with our patients.
- Understand, and can utilize, "Windows" and other basic computer systems.
- Have a basic understanding of dental procedures to schedule next appointments and can convey this information to the patient.
