Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist (Temp to Hire)
Pay: $17/hr

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist that is responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and families while managing the administrative tasks associated with patient check-in and office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Check-In: Greet families and check in patients using the computer system.
- Documentation Verification: Confirm completion of pre-check-in, consent, and authorization forms.
- Insurance Management: Scan new insurance cards and update the system accordingly.
- Financial Transactions: Address outstanding balances, collect copays, and document any financial discussions in patient account notes.
- Insurance Eligibility: Check upcoming appointments for insurance eligibility.
- Print Documents: Print receipts, patient forms, physical forms, and immunization records as required.
- Referral Management: Direct families with billing and insurance inquiries to the business office.
- Office Maintenance: Ensure the waiting room is clean and organized at the end of each day.
- Communication: Answer phones and schedule checkups and recheck appointments.
- Record Keeping: Scan forms into the system for proper documentation.
- Flexible Coverage: Cover late shifts and Saturday schedules as needed.
Shared Front Desk Duties (as needed):
- Schedule checkups, rechecks, conferences, and prenatal appointments.
- Send appointment reminders to patients.
- Retrieve and manage messages, responding or distributing as necessary.
- Open, distribute, and scan mail for physician review.
- Schedule and confirm drug representative lunches.
- Print patient schedules for the next day and upcoming week.
- Reschedule appointments in case of physician schedule changes.
- Monitor incoming emails and distribute as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using computer systems and office software.
- Experience in a medical office setting is a plus.

This position requires a professional demeanor and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
