Front Desk Receptionist - Lynx Therapeutics

About the Job
Lynx Therapeutics has an immediate need for a receptionist to perform the following:
- Greet and acknowledge each customer as soon as they arrive
- Answer the phone in a timely manner and direct calls
- Take and relay messages
- Provide information to callers
- Deal with queries from the public and customers
- Receive and sort mail and deliveries
- Accurately process sales
- Issue refunds and credits
- Maintain accurate records of transactions
- Maintain a neat, tidy and orderly work area
- Ability to learn quickly and follow directions accurately
Requirements
Education and Experience
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Basic mathematical knowledge
- Experience dealing with money
- Knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferable
