Front Desk Receptionist/Registrar PRN

Horizon Ridge SurgeryCenter,is looking for an experienced, mature and very professionalFront Desk Receptionist/Registrar. Successful candidate will have outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently, as well as the ability to interact with clinical staff to provide the utmost in patient care. Must have excellent time and attendance.Opportunity for advancement. Salary based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and the public in a pleasant and professional manner
• Verifies information in the computer is correct
• Prepares chart for clinical staff after patient completes paperwork
• Collects procedure fees from patients
• Organizes registration packets for the next day
• Cross trains in other Business Office areas

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of hospital or medical office experience
• Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way
• Ability to prioritize and use time wisely to meet high-paced demand
• Show a genuine desire to work and improve the surgery center as a whole
• Professional appearance
• Very detail oriented
• Must demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills

Minimum 3 years of hospital or medical office experience. Multi-lingual preferred, but not required.
