Position: Dental Office Receptionist
Location: Lexington, KY
Pay: $17 - $19 per hour

Position Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
- One Friday a Month: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Daily Tasks:
- Greeting Patients: Welcome patients with a smile and ensure they feel comfortable
- Scheduling/Managing Appointments: Efficiently manage the appointment calendar
- Handling Office Emails and Messages: Respond to emails and answering machine messages promptly
- Collecting/Post Patient Co-pays & Outstanding Balances: Ensure accurate financial transactions
- Posting Personal/Insurance Checks Received by Mail: Keep financial records up to date
- Batching Claims for Completed Treatment: Prepare and send claims for processing
- Creating and Batching Pre-authorizations for Scheduled/Planned Treatment: Ensure pre-authorizations are completed
- Posting Pre-treatment Estimates and Scanning into Patient Document Center: Maintain accurate patient records
- Sending Electronically Batched Claims: Ensure timely submission of claims
- Running Reports for Treatment Not Billed to Carrier/Pre-authorizations Not Received: Monitor and follow up on outstanding items
- Preparing Bank Deposits: Handle daily financial deposits
Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have Dentrix Knowledge (required)
- Possess Excellent Time Management and Organizational Skills
- Demonstrate Strong Communication Skills, both verbal and written
- Provide Outstanding Customer Support
- Be Familiar with Front Desk Operations and have a minimum of 2 years of previous experience
