Our technology solutions team is seeking a skilled Front-End Angular Developer to join our team for a 5-month project focused on migrating an older ColdFusion front-end web application to a modern Angular framework. Our ideal developer will have extensive experience in front-end development, particularly with Angular, and will be responsible for engineering the front-end UI using a modern tech stack. This role requires proficiency in JavaScript, API integration, and application component development. While the primary focus is on front-end development, familiarity with back-end databases is a plus. The SQL Server environment will not be changed during this migration however familiarity with SQL Server is a plus. The candidate will work closely with a UI/UX designer and should have experience with modern CI/CD tools, pipelines, and AWS cloud infrastructures. Additionally, the candidate must have experience with .Net Core APIs and REST APIs, understand clean code principles, unit testing, and know how to make applications efficient. The project will need to be thoroughly documented and tested before being handed off to our client's engineering team.
This project requires our developer to work onsite 2 days / week (Tue & Thu) near the Greater Los Angeles / Burbank, CA area. We have a direct relationship with the project stakeholder and are setting up interviews immediately. Responsibilities
The base range for this contract position is $60 - $70/per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered

Responsibilities
- Migrate an existing ColdFusion web application to a modern Angular framework.
- Develop and maintain front-end components using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Integrate APIs and ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Utilize AWS cloud services for application hosting and management.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Document and test the application thoroughly before handoff to the engineering team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and bugs.
- Proficiency in Angular and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with .Net Core APIs and RESTful services.
- Experience with API integration and RESTful services.
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda).
- Understanding of clean code principles and application efficiency.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with ColdFusion.
- Knowledge of back-end databases (e.g., SQL Server, etc).
- Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
