- Must be 18 or older

- Knowledge of basic math (e.g., counting, addition, and subtraction)
- Effective written and oral communication skills

- High School Diploma or GED
- Any experience as a bookkeeper, service desk associate, or front end manager- Train new bookkeepers on best practices for accounting while focusing training on daily, Sunday weekly, and self-checkout (SCO) balancing
- Follow up on all audits and provide additional training when needed
- Provide ongoing training for backup bookkeepers with limited exposure
- Communicate and train any new changes to accounting processes
- Monitor proper accounting processes to reduce cash loss
- Review Regional Accounting Service Center (RASC) SharePoint and research over/short opportunities, providing coaching and training as appropriate
- Identify process opportunities and system issues and communicate with General Office (GO) for resolution; identify issues and notify and partner with Asset Protection on concerns
- Complete any forensic deep dive requests from Asset Protection or RASC
- Communicate over and short opportunities to the stores and work with them to investigate
- Review all action panels each day and communicate areas of research needed to be performed by the store as required by RASC
- Complete period and quarter general ledger review; work with RASC to review all R Entries
- Oversee AML booth record keeping ensuring required record retention and compliance; perform Smart Safe audits
- Act as an emergency backup if a store is without the primary or secondary bookkeeper
- Adhere to all local, state and federal health and civil codes
- Support service expectations for Friendly, QueVision, money services, self-checkout and other key areas
- Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management
- Oversee and manage the efficient operations of all customer service booth and money service functions and activities
- Travel to other store locations for the purpose of training associates and auditing best practices
