Position Summary
As part of the Vital Marketing Team for Tenet Health, the Front-End Developer - Web Marketing, will help build our websites and web applications. In this role, you will work closely with our development and website operations teams to help create and improve Tenet’s digital front door for patients as well as referring physicians.
This role is responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum conversion, and maintaining brand consistency across multiple local domains, among other duties. This is an opportunity to help drive and evolve the front-end design and user experience for multiple Tenet Health websites. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with the home office and field marketing team, external and offshore back-end development teams and leading design and user experience for a multitude of Tenet brands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop user-facing features using HTML/CSS and JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, React, and Vue.js
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Write functional requirement documents and guides
- Create quality mockups and prototypes, ensuring high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UX/UI and help elevate Tenet websites to world-class experiences
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across multiple platforms
- Validate user input and help design UAT processes for acceptance and deployment
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Help ensure overall design consistency while adapting UX/UI to local brand standards and requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in front-end website/application design and development.
- Deep knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Proficiency with frameworks and development stacks such as jQuery, AngularJS, React, Vue.js, and Tailwind.
- Experience with UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
- Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and Ajax.
- Experience debugging using JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console.
- Knowledge of graphics and illustration tools such Adobe Creative Suite and experience creating wireframes in visualization tools like Figma and MockFlow.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and search engine optimization (SEO) principles.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as SiteFinity and Sitecore is highly desirable.
