The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) Planning Tools team is looking for a passionate, innovative, results-oriented Front End Engineer (FEE) to build solutions that make it simpler for our field team to manage and operate at scale. As a FEE on the SMGS Planning Tools team, you'll contribute to defining and building the world class UX in Salesforce and Planning Tools built on AWS services for the AWS Sales organization. In addition to working on the latest AWS and Salesforce technologies, you'll have the opportunity to innovate in the space of Sales Planning and Management. You'll be chartered with creating and operating applications that deliver critical capabilities to the field, and with embedding operational knowledge and encoding best practices into everything we do. The SMGS Planning Tools team shares a passion for delivering superior products, innovating using advanced technologies, and impacting the AWS business in a meaningful way. Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or similar technical field. - 3+ years of professional (non-internship) experience designing and developing complex modern web applications - 3+ years of professional (non-internship) experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, and Backbone - Expertise with JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, and modern web technologies Preferred Qualifications - Frontend development experience on Salesforce. - Experience in working with scalable, reliable and high-performing web-services. - Experience in defining, developing and maintaining web-API's. - Experience in agile software development methodology - Master's Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical discipline (or equivalent experience) Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
