About the Job
We are a locally owned and operated restaurant located in the heart of Carrboro. We serve Neapolitan pizza, rustic wood-fired dishes, local beer, wine, house cocktails, and house made gelato using ingredients sourced from local farms or imported from Italy. We have recently expanded our dining room and now have seating for 70 guests including a 30 person covered patio.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing the front of house of full-service fast-paced restaurants and will be responsible for? managing the daily operations of the dining room. This includes planning, directing, managing and taking a hands on daily role in the FOH service operations. They will also be responsible for overseeing the development of seasonal bar menu items using ingredients from our restaurant's gardens. Local vendors and from neighboring farms.

Duties:
- Supervise and manage the front of house of restaurant.
- Manage restaurant events.
- Manage front of house team including hiring.
- Manage inventory / ordering.
- Maintain high level of quality throughout restaurant.
- Work closely with Executive Chef.
- Develop / implement new bar menu items.
- Work with local farms, wine reps, local breweries to source bar items.
- Have an active hands on role in the dining room.
- Maintain cleanliness and restaurant equipment.
