Front of the House [Cashier / Runner] at Shane's Rib Shack

This job role is vital to the success of Shanes Rib Shack. The front of the house employee ensures we have top notch customer service and that are productsare served with 100% satisfaction. It is the front of the house employees responsibility to provide customerswith prompt service,quality food and products. At Shanes Rib Shack, we want our customers to experience a friendly, upbeat, clean and comfortable atmosphere.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Acts with integrity, honesty & knowledgethat promotes the culture, values & mission of Shanes Rib Shack
• Ensures customers receive prompt, efficient, courteous customer service. Provides friendly, courteous, polite and ensures prompt resolution of service issues
• Delivers legendary customer service by determining the customers needs & suggesting products to enhanceservice & meet or exceed sales goals.
• Performs regular table touches to solicit feedbackand communicate appropriate information
• Becomes familiar with the Point of Sale system.  Speed and accuracy need to be mastered quickly
• Welcomes guests with enthusiasm and expresses appreciation as the guests leave
• Answers the phone promptly and courteously.  Takes over the phone orders and assists customers
• Contributes to the store goals for increasingsales and improvingprofits
• Clearing tables quickly to allow for a smoothie and quick turn during peak hours of lunch  and dinner
• Sweeping the floors and patio and other related cleaning tasks (ie. bathrooms)
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operatingto standard and to set a positiveexample for the shift team
• Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing changes in partner morale & performance & communicating them to the store manager
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of Shanes Rib Shacks products and menu
• Matching the customerorders with the guest and delivering the meal to the customerby name
• Visiting with customers, refilling drinks and ensuring the customer is fully satisfied
• Returning all dirty good baskets to the dish washer
• Keeping the drink station stocked and cleaned.
• Help promote involvement in the local community involvement and assist when in community events at the store
• Maintains regular and consistent attendanceand punctuality

Qualifications

• Self-starter with Whatever It Takes attitudeand high sense of  urgency
• Customer service oriented with exceptional communication  skills
• Ability to learn quickly
• Demonstrates leadership and teamwork skills
• Workvaried hours/days based on businessneeds
• Ability to build relationships

Required qualifications:
