Front Office Representative- Medical - Suncoast Community Health Centers Inc.

POSITION TITLE:  FRONT OFFICE REPRESENTATIVE MEDICAL

FLSA:   NON-EXEMPT

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• High School Graduate/GED
• Two years of experience as a customer service or public relations representative in a clinic or hospital.
• Medical terminology preferred
• Computer literate.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Greet and register all patients and collect necessary information and co-pay.
• Financial counsel all appointment patients.
• ECW entry / Electronic Medical Records
• Responsible for data entry, as needed.
• Prepare deposit.
• Organize all medical forms.
• Help referrals with appointments, as time permits.
• Reminder of appointments.
• Answer phones
• Training new personnel, as required.
• Other duties as assigned
