FSQ Inventory Control Analyst
Role Summary:
The FSQ Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for tracking and managing FSQ product holds in the ERP system, at all EAS production facilities, and third-party warehouses. They work directly with the warehouse team to coordinate product movement, rework, and release. The FSQ Inventory Specialist reviews supplier CARs for EAS production facilities and compiles CAR trending reports, and supports other FSQ initiatives as needed.
Essential Competencies:
Food Safety and Quality
o Manage FSQ hold inventory lifecycle at all EAS production facilities and third party warehouses.
o Review hold inventory at least weekly, complete weekly hold summaries, and distribute to the operations team
o Lead dispositioning efforts for FSQ hold product:
o Review FSQ holds in the EAS ERP system on a daily basis.
o Work cross functionally with the operations team to schedule rework
o Schedule and meet with suppliers for raw material related holds.
o Coordinate product returns and inspections with third party storage facilities
o Document and review product destruction as needed, communicating as needed with regulatory authorities.
o Organize cycle counts of hold inventory at all facilities at the end of each period.
o Complete summaries of all supplier CARs by period and analyze for trending raw material issues.
o Manage the process of closing and receiving credit for CARs in conjunction with the finance team.
o Assist the plant production team in gathering data for supplier CARs as needed.
o Review open CARs on a weekly basis, coordinate supplier/EAS communication to close CARs as needed
o Create and manage monthly CAR data trending including type, number, and cost year over year to support FSQ departmental KPIs.
o Train as a backup for the Supplier Quality Specialist completing functions such as:
o Completing routine supplier communication.
o Conduct sensory testing.
o Review supplier food safety and quality documentation for approvals as needed.
o Assist with raw material audits, planned and emergent, as needed.
o Function as a backup for GMP training at the Eden Prairie plant
o Present new hire GMP training as scheduled by HR.
o Coordinate and present GMP refresher training for operations and related personnel three times per year and for new hires as scheduled.
o Coordinate and present maintenance GMP training for new maintenance personnel and annual refresher training.
o Update GMP slides for Deli vision monthly.
o Help update GMP boards in hallway to lunchroom and GMP room entrance.
o Execute assigned food safety, quality and continuous improvement activities to support the SQF Code requirements as updated.
o Attend the DMM to update the team on quality issues.

o Cooperate with all aspects of the safety program at E. A. Sween Company
o Follow employer safety and health rules, policies, and standard work.
o Complete the mandatory E. A. Sween Safety Training Sessions.
o Report near miss conditions to manager or the safety team.
o Maintain 6S in the work environment.
o Be an active member of the safety team.

o Professionally represent EAS to our supplier, industry and government.
o Enhance qualifications for the FSQ Inventory Control Coordinator position by attending related seminars or classes as directed by supervisor.

o Over-Under Bench Scales
o Thermometers (Probes/Infrareds/data loggers)
o O2/CO2 analyzer
o Metal Detector
o Office equipment
Required Qualifications:
• BS degree food science or a science related degree
• 2-3 years of ERP inventory management experience (JDE/E1 preferred)
• HACCP or PCQI certification
• Computer skills required (Windows, MS Word, MS Excel)
• Basic math, problem solving skills, and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team
