FSRI - Outpatient Clinician, Behavioral Health - The City of Providence

Position Summary: The Clinician will be a part of the CCBHC team to provide treatment of referred patients and assist with barriers to care. Staff will conduct assessment screenings; treatment planning; evidence based therapeutic intervention; care coordination; consultation; and crisis evaluations on site in office and in the community, as appropriate. Will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide crisis and on- going clinical services to children, adults and families both in person and virtually. Establish partnerships with community service systems statewide to improve access to trauma informed crisis intervention, clinical care and ongoing coordination of services. 

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required
• Required to be licensed or eligible to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor
• Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
• Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated
• Flexible schedule with some evenings 
• Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must
• Ability to work independently and part of a team    
• Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
