Here’s what you will do:
*Provide an efficient, exceptional dining experience with first-class customer service
*Duties are determined by the company’s needs and may include, but are not limited to the following:
*Provide an efficient, exceptional dining experience with first-class customer service
*Prepare and serve meals according to menu plans that change with the seasons; creating a restaurant-style dining experience
*Coordinate food preparation and meal service, including nutritional snacks
*Plan and initiate cooking schedule for food preparation to meet meal schedules
*Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies
*Meet the needs and requests of the residents
*Put our residents first, as a standard of excellence
*Follow the direction of the Dietary Manager and Dietitian
*Maintain high standards in food preparation and sanitation
*Be detailed oriented, well-groomed, and professional
*Removes soiled dishes from previous shifts that were leftover
*Prepares/provides ice water according to established procedure
*Refills salt, pepper, and sugar shakers when necessary
*Prepares milk pitchers and cold juices and fills drink glasses for meal service
*Helps serve meals
*Cleans off counters, picks up dishes and utensils, and cleans tables
*Returns soiled dishes and utensils to kitchen and loads dishwashing machine
*Follows cleaning schedule by checking each day for job assignment in routine cleaning
*Respects resident's rights and complies with Adult Abuse Policy
*Complies with laws regulating Protected Health Information
*Other duties as assigned
Essential For You To Have:
*Minimum one (1) year food service experience in a healthcare dietary setting is desired
*Must be able to communicate professionally and interact positively with residents and other personnel. Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English, at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
*Must be able to clean, keep a sanitary work environment, and pass state and federal background check
*Must be able to stand, bend, and walk a minimum of 6 hours a day
*Must be able to carry/ lift, push, and pull a maximum of 50lbs
*High school diploma or GED is required
*Candidate must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
