Summary:
We are currently hiring for the position of full-time Medical Receptionist at our infusion center located in Richmond, VA. This position is responsible for greeting incoming patients and performing other clerical/administrative duties to support the infusion center while supporting and demonstrating TwelveStone’s values and philosophies in the accomplishment of our mission. This position is not eligible for telework.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments. Receive and sort mail, scan documents, etc.
- Collects data from patients, including insurance information, demographics, and home medication lists.
- Verifies benefits prior to Infusion Center appointments.
- Collects Out of Pocket/Co-insurance payments from patients.
- Greets patients and families, answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate person. Check in patients for the infusion center appointments.
- Must report to work on time, maintain acceptable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide coverage Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Education High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a receptionist or similar administrative role, medical practice setting/reception preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office and use to other technology.
