Seasonal Fulfillment Manager
Position Overview:
Currently seeking a proactive and organized Seasonal Fulfillment Manager to manage and oversee the fulfillment operations during a very busy seasonal period. This role is integral in ensuring the efficiency of order processing, management of inventory, and on-time delivery to the customers. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Assignment length: through January 2025 (the candidate must be available Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday)
Hours: Full-time with possible need for overtime during peak time
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing & Fulfillment: Oversee all aspects of the fulfillment process, ensuring orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. Manage the picking, packing, and shipping of orders, implementing best practices to streamline workflow. Ship DTC and Wholesale orders. Ship third party marketplace orders (FarFetch), manage gift orders, manage preorders.
Inventory Management: Work closely with the inventory team to monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and coordinate timely replenishments. Ensure accurate tracking of inventory movements to maintain a real-time view of available stock.
Team Supervision: Lead a team of fulfillment associates, providing daily guidance, training, and support. Schedule and coordinate shifts to maintain optimal staffing levels during peak periods.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure each order meets our standards. Address issues promptly to prevent delays and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation solutions. Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues.
Safety & Compliance: Promote a safe work environment by ensuring all team members adhere to company safety guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years in fulfillment, warehouse management, or a similar logistics role; seasonal or high-volume experience preferred.
Leadership Skills: Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic environment.
Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, with a proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Shopify and shipping software platforms
Problem-Solving Ability: Able to quickly address and resolve fulfillment issues as they arise, maintaining a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Language: Bilingual in Spanish preferred
