About the Job
The Fulfillment & Showroom Manager will manage and execute the daily operations of the showroom. In this high volume, customer service support role, the Fulfillment & Showroom Manager will have responsibility for a range of showroom activities including overseeing end-to-end fulfillment processes, inventory tracking, inventory management, inbound and outbound shipments and any other facets of the showroom. The ideal candidate has experience successfully scaling for growth with demonstrated experience implementing scalable systems and workflows and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty with a small team. This is a fully on-site job; candidates must be able to work in-office Mon - Fri 9:30am - 6:30pm.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and successfully implement effective inventory management strategies to ensure the efficient operation of the showroom as it relates to all inbound and outbound fulfillment activities
Ensure operations are consistent with our commitment to customer service while fostering an environment that is both employee-centric and customer-centric, with a focus on daily inventory management in order to maximize space while also providing outstanding customer service
Implement and maintain internal systems to track on-site inventory and organize sample trafficking across clients
Maintain a properly organized area of all racks, shelves, and displays
Partner closely with the Brand division to ensure and coordinate the showroom is always organized and ready for client meetings or events
Oversee logistics of all inbound & outbound shipments
Establish operations procedures that comply with an efficient and safe showroom by leading a team that focuses on proper product selection and picking practices
Assist in resolving any discrepancies and partnering with team members to ensure accuracy is maintained
Review and monitor the achievement of operational goals and standards
Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing delivery speed, reliability, and overall customer satisfaction to meet and exceed customer and team expectations
Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in operational processes; partner with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and streamline workflow improvements
Must be able to stand and walk throughout the day; requires ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach and carry packages and merchandise (up to 25 lbs)
Manage and supervise employees
Develop and lead training of new assistants and interns
Manage all samples with the help of cross-client teams
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years’ of experience in supply chain or fulfillment management, preferably in a warehouse and/or showroom
Demonstrated experience successfully scaling a growing operation; have successfully implemented scalable systems and workflows
Experience successfully managing a high volume of daily inbound and outbound shipments
Exceptional customer service approach
Meticulous attention to detail and focus on accuracy
Highly organized, proactive work approach
Great eye for aesthetics
Experience supervising and directing employees
Adept in collaborating with cross-functional teams: internal teams and external partners
Sound interpersonal and relationship building skills
Clear, confident and persuasive verbal & written communication skills when working with a diverse group of stakeholders
Demonstrated ability working in fast-paced work environments
Ability to meet deadlines
Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic and rapidly evolving business environment
Proven experience in continuous project management
Acknowledgment of safety compliant standards with OSHA
Fashion GPS experience is highly desired
