About the Job
We have a client in Doral, FL looking for a full time Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant with inventory and COGS experience using QuickBooks Online. Experience in the fashion industry is a plus.
This is an onsite position with full benefits.
Required
- At least 3 years COGS, inventory and general accounting experience, preferably in a retail /distribution environment
- At least 2 years of QBO experience
- Written and verbal Fluency in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, office administration and procedures
- Experience preparing monthly financial statements and cash flow projections
- Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
- Proficient accounting applications, and Microsoft Office; Advanced Excel skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and ability to problem solve
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Interpersonal skills and excellent professional level communication skills
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred
General duties
- General accounting duties, including inventory and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
- Accounting functions related to customer service issues, e.g., returns, customer master file maintenance, refunds.
- Researching and recording customer payments, chargebacks, and credit card cash receipts.
- Reconciling bank accounts.
- Preparing monthly financial statements and cash flow projections.
- Summarizing and recording company credit card charges.
- Customer billing.
- Inventory analysis.
- Documenting procedures.
- Special projects as assigned.
