ur client is a dynamic and fast-paced company seeking a reliable, professional, and highly motivated individual to join their team as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing their financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of the financial records. Salary: $70K to $80K- Direct Hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Transactions: Accurately enter and manage all accounting transactions in compliance with established standards.
- Accounts Payable Management: Handle high-volume accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor communications.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Law Firm Accounting (Preferred): Apply knowledge of law firm accounting practices, including managing client trust accounts and adhering to industry-specific regulations.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize QuickBooks for all bookkeeping activities and Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance as needed, including organizing financial documents and supporting audits.
- Inventory Management: Order and maintain office supplies to support daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Software Skills: At least 5 years of experience with QuickBooks and managing high-volume accounts payable.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in law firm accounting is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated accuracy in entering accounting transactions and data management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel and Word.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and prioritize work.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Strong sense of responsibility and reliability with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
