FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER
Position Overview:
We are seeking a experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our client's rapidly growing Construction organization in a temp to hire model. In this role you will work closely with the rest of the Accounting team, under the direction of te Accounting Manager and Controller. This position is a full-time, in office position only. Your primary responsibilities will include but many of these duties will be shared between the team - so they don't all fall solely on your shoulders:
- Managing company ledgers
- Processing payroll and associated prevailing wage reporting
- Preparing union reports
- Processing accounts payable
- Management of insurance policies
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts
- Preparing financial statements
- Business licenses
- Benefits Administration
- Job Costing
- Assisting leadership with reporting and regulatory requirements
Our ideal candidate has:
- Some continued education, focused on Accounting
- A minimum of 5 years of prior bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of GAAP principles, financial analysis techniques, and accounting software; experience with a Construction accounting software preferred
- Knowledge and expreince processing Payroll and Certified Payroll for Prevailing Wage jobs
- Experience preparing financial statements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
- Proven track record of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Experience in the construction industry is a huge plus

Compensation: $30 - $40/hr (Depending on experience, skills, and education)
