About the Job
Commercial contractor located in Erdenheim, PA seeks full-time responsible Construction Bookkeeper and Accounting Manager to manage and coordinate all accounting functions for growing company.
- We need a full-charge professional willing to accept responsibility for all company financial requirements, functions and accounting staff.
- Must be organized, good communicator, positive attitude, detail orientated, and meet deadlines.
- Computer competent with Sage Accounting software or similar, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
- Position includes financial management and accounting for multiple projects, organizing and maintaining project and company finances, financial & income statements, month-end closings, chart of accounts, work in process, journal entries, equipment expenses, job cost tracking & updating, invoices, payables, receivables, manage banking, bank reconciliations, payroll, taxes, employee benefits & insurance.
- Must be able to develop Excel spreadsheets, create AIA billings, manage lien waivers, and prepare certified payroll.
- Hire and manage additional staff as required.
- Applicants must be team players, self-sufficient, highly motivated, dedicated, detail-orientated, drugfree, and have the ability to take charge and make decisions.
- Prefer accounting or bookkeeping education, CFMA Certified and minimum 5 years construction accounting manager experience with commercial General Contractor or Subcontractor.
