About the Job
Our client has a direct hire opportunity for a CLEARED Full Stack Data Scientist/Software Engineer in their Fort Belvoir, VA location. In this role, you will analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application and software code across one or more end projects
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens with a TS/SCI Clearance.
Responsibilities :- Perform manual and automated data cleaning, exploration, and movement of structured/unstructured data.
- Conduct data ingestion to store data locally or at the enterprise level.
- Analyze and design data formats, ETL systems, and solutions with other Data Scientists to meet mission goals.
- Develop analytics and algorithms to extract insights, transform, or fuse data for new analysis.
- Build ETL code and tools for enterprise or standalone data models, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Create and maintain ETL documentation and provide consulting on ETL design.
- Architect and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD (Argo CD) with secure builds via DevSecOps tools.
- Bachelor's degree (or 4 additional years of experience)
- 3 years of experience with Python
- 3 years of software development experience
- Experience and knowledge of the following:
- Git, Database Systems (SQL, NOSQL), usage and development of APIs
- Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools and processes
- Argo CD, Docker, Kubernetes, NIFI, Cloud Systems (Azure/AWS)
- Python libraries for visualization (i.e. Leaflet/Folium, Plotly, matplotlib, etc.), SQLAlchemy, FastAPI, Pydantic and testing (Pytest, etc.)
- Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens with a TS/SCI Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- IC Experience
- Graph Databases, Elastic, Spark, Kafka, DevSecOps/MLOps
- Specific experience with PostgreSQL and Optimization of deployment and queries
- Software Engineering Background
- Familiarity with Software Infrastructure and Networking
- Ability to optimize the performance of code, algorithms, datasets and models.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range of $80K-$125K, based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure, and certifications. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
