Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer to provide software development support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Enterprise Data Catalog Support (EDC). The Full-Stack Developer will provide front-end development expertise and hands-on programming support in the integration of Alation software into the EDC project.
The Full-Stack Developer will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. They’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. The Full-Stack Developer will help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Responsibilities
- Perform front and backend development, including application programming, testing, debugging, and integration support.
- Work with the EDCS CA lead and the scrum master to identify work/user stories (i.e. development, deployment, analysis, visualization, etc.) to be performed during the sprint.
- Build fully operational applications following a standard prescribed methodology that ensures stringent process management, quality assurance, configuration management, and security conformance control.
- Update the tracking tool (JIRA, Azure DevOps, and/or GitHub) daily.
- Provide status updates during daily standups and identify blockers that will prevent them from completing all work assigned during the sprint.
- All work will be appropriately documented and tested to meet unit, integration, load, and user acceptance testing as defined by the team's test plans and/or best practices.
- Participate in product owner meetings, end customer meetings, demonstrations, user support meetings, or other meetings to enable the EDCS team to support contract requirements successfully.
- Documentation requirements will be met for all process, technical, and operational requirements needed to enable efficient support to the CDC.
- Deliver all prescribed documentation consistent with the level of project effort.
- Provide maintenance and enhancement services, including modernization and feasible customization of business applications.
- Troubleshoot and repair customized production applications with requirements analysis, quality assurance testing, and updated documentation.
- Conduct all maintenance and enhancement efforts following a standard prescribed methodology that ensures stringent project management, quality assurance, configuration management, and security conformance controls.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of experience with front-end development writing applications deployed in an enterprise-level production environment
- Experience with:
- Bootstrap, Angular js and jQuery
- React, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS, Javascript
- UI/UX with Razor view
- Rest API , Web API and Azure
- C#, Python
- Experience in working with common build and development tools
- Knowledge of code splitting, lazy loading, and other performance optimization techniques
- Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Possession of strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with leading a team of front-end developers
- Experience with Alation or Alation API
- Experience with leveraging CI/CD tools, including Jenkins and SonarQube
- Experience with developing in AWS cloud
- Experience with developing in AZURE cloud
- Experience with Azure Synapse , SQL Server
- Experience with UX and design processes
- Knowledge of object-oriented design principles
- Knowledge of back-end development
