Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and maintainable web applications. Products may include user interfaces, integrations with third party web services and new or existing databases
- Develop functional prototypes and beta web applications quickly
- Support existing web applications including troubleshooting, bug fixing, required upgrades and modifications to existing functionality.
- BS or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics
- 5+ years developing web applications with C# and ASP.NET MVC
- Experience with JavaScript, jQuery and web frameworks
- Experience developing business applications using SQL Server or another RDBMS
- Knowledge of current best practices of web application development using HTML and CSS
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices such as SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Development experience under an agile development methodology and process
- Strong written and oral communication, documentation and interpersonal skills, and a positive can-do attitude
- You must be extremely thorough, analytical, and focused on details
- You must be able to work independently/efficiently and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience building and consuming web services using Web API 2.0
- Experience with unit testing and test driven development.
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies
- Experience using tools Rally, GIT, TFS
- Experience with mobile app development
- Development experience of responsive user interfaces
