Our client is an award-winning, full-service general practice specializing in high-volume small animal care. Recognized with the “People’s Choice Award” for Best Veterinary Practice in Collin County every year since 2010, the practice is preparing to move into a new, state-of-the-art facility by April 2024. The facility will feature 14 exam rooms, 3 surgery rooms, and 2 dental tables, with ortho services coming soon. The clinic sees an average of 100-150 patients a day.
We are seeking two Associate Veterinarians to join the team! Currently, the practice has 3 doctors and 16 techs, with plans to expand to 6-7 veterinarians after the move.
Position: Associate Veterinarian (2 openings)Pay Range: DOE – $125,000 up to $180,000 or more based on experience Sign-On Bonus: Negotiable Relocation Assistance: Yes (negotiable)Contract: Negotiable Schedule: 3x 10-hour shifts (8am-6pm) + every other Saturday (8am-12pm). You’ll enjoy a 4-day weekend every other week! Overtime Pay: $1,000 per day for any work beyond 3 days a week

Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose and treat health issues
- Perform routine surgeries (spays, neuters, mass removals, dental)
- Administer vaccines, and provide guidance on pet care and treatment plans
- Use advanced medical equipment, including digital x-rays, ultrasound, dental x-rays, and more
- Maintain medical records and communicate effectively with pet owners
- Collaborate with a team of skilled technicians to deliver high-quality care

- Self-Motivated: Able to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Surgical Skills: Strong surgical background is a plus but not a requirement
