SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking applicants for Emergency Department Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. The position is at Saint Louis University Hospital (SLUH).
SLUH is a 365 bed hospital and a level 1 Trauma, Stroke and STEMI center. Our state-of-the-art facility was opened in 2020 to meet the growing critical care needs of 75 outlying partner clinics and nearly 50,000 patients annually, within a 250-mile radius across Missouri and Illinois. SLUH serves as a teaching facility for Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Duties include:
- Performing medical screening exams
- Providing primary care to patients
- Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
- Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
- Recording patient medical histories
- Performing routine lab tests
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program
- NPs should have acute care or emergency medicine certifications
- Current PA/NP licensure in appropriate state
- New graduates welcome with supporting RN or clinical APP background
