Full Time Patient Accounts Representative - Cape Cod Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

Patient Accounts Representative/ Insurance Biller

Location: Sandwich, MA

Job Summary: Maintain all patient accounts per specified insurance companies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Retrieve and post daily ERA/Insurance Payments for designated insurances.
• Process creation of claims for specified insurances.
• Appeal all denied claims for designated insurances within timely filing limit.
• Assist patients in understanding; explanation of benefits, payment policies, etc.
• Pull and Maintain A/R reports and claim statuses for designated insurances.
• Provide assistance to other staff on appeals, posting and other insurance/financial questions.
• Address all correspondences for designated insurances.
• Offer phone support for Billing Hunt Group
• Scanning Duties

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• One year previous experience

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and/or sit for extended period of time
