Full Time Shift Supervisor LPN - 2nd Shift - Spring Arbor Senior Living

Spring Arbor Senior Living of Salisbury located in Midlothian, VA is seeking Shift Supervisor LPN to lead our Assisted Living team. The Supervisor LPN is responsible for managing the medication administration program in accordance with state regulations. This position directs Resident Assistants (RAs) and helps coordinate services for residents under the direction of the Resident Care Director. The Shift Supervisor LPN is tasked to develop positive relationships with team members, families, and residents on behalf of the community. 2nd Shift standard hours are from 3pm to 11pm Monday-Friday with rotating every other weekend.

• Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing
• High school diploma, or equivalent required
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Prior supervisor experience in a similar work environment
• Must have and maintain CPR and First Aid

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

• Document and review medication administration, refer to residents’ charts and administer medications according to physician’s orders
• Ensure that medications are being administered at appropriate times and order residents’ medications in a timely manner
• Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals regarding residents’ medications, treatments, and/or therapies
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility and incontinence care
• Respond to resident emergency call system
