Fullstack Developer at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Fullstack Developer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid). You will design and implement scalable components for our core platform, ensuring high performance and stability.

 

Rate Range: $58/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Fullstack Developer job responsibilities include:

• Designing and building horizontally scalable components for a high-performance, stable platform.

• Reviewing code and providing feedback, focusing on best practices and performance optimization.

• Mentoring other developers and becoming a subject matter expert in platform-deployed code.

• Writing reusable, extendable code and contributing to the core platform’s development.

• Developing solutions for interactive web-based applications using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot.

• Ensuring simplicity in software architecture and constantly striving for improvement.

• Actively participating in Agile processes, including daily stand-ups and grooming sessions.

• Building distributed, scalable services and robust microservices architecture.

• Maintaining CI/CD pipelines and contributing to automation processes.

• Demonstrating ownership, urgency, and a drive for continuous learning and problem-solving.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development.

• Expertise in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and OpenShift cloud technologies.

• Strong background in functional and object-oriented programming, with proficiency in data structures and algorithms.

• Experience with databases, including both relational and NoSQL.

Pay Details: $58.00 to $68.00 per hour
