Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications.
- Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
- Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
- Utilize backend data services and contribute to enhancing existing data services APIs.
- Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
- Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
- Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
- Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort.
- Provide technical related consultation plus expertise to all product managers as well as various staff members.
- Write technical as well as non-technical specifications along with the record all procedures.
- Review product needs documents and participate for calls integration with partners.
- Ensure to resolve identified issues related with PHP development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar field.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven software development experience in PHP.
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Query.
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and developing web services.
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay, etc).
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
- Experience in working with RESTful APIs.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/MySQL.
- Experience in digital marketing is a plus.
- Ability to write and understand user stories.
- Understanding of software architecture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
