Funding Specialist - SA - Credit Human

 We are seeking a Funding Specialist for the Consumer Loan Funding Department.

This role is accountable for the funding of consumer loans processed through the Enhanced Loan Application (ELA). This position is responsible for ensuring quality output of Consumer Loan files and the accuracy of funding. The incumbent will also be responsible for the follow-up to ensure required documents are obtained in the securing of any collateral, ensure loan documents comply with Federal, State and Local laws, adhere to NCUA regulations and company guidelines. This individual is accountable to meet company objectives of sustainable profitability and increased market penetration. This individual must model Credit Human’s core values and align their actions with the mission of the Credit Union by contributing to a work environment of serving others with honesty and integrity, loyalty, and responsibility.

Highlights:

• Maintain Episys and Meridian Link funding queues to ensure loans are processed in the required timeline.
• Communicate all stipulations to members.
• Set up loan closing with member through prioritized channel (i.e. 1^st Electronic, 2^nd Direct Channels or 3^rd Traditional Mail).
• Complete loan documentation accurately and timely for loan closing and all documents to the desired delivery channel as directed by the member.
• Communicate with internal and external members of loan documentation requirements.
• Disburse funds and verify funds are deposited to correct account.

Experience:

    Required

• 1-2 years of Loan Closing experience
• Knowledge of Credit Human products and services

Education:

    Required

• High school graduate or equivalent
