Department Summary:This position will report to the LFL Director. Serving as the Senior Development Officer for UCLA Latina Futures under the Chicano Studies Research Center, you will plan and implement a strong, proactive major gift and fundraising strategy with specific targets that reflects the Latina Futures Lab priorities. As a Senior Development Officer, you will work closely with the school's faculty, leadership and colleagues to gain knowledge of research interests and areas of expertise, determine market feasibility for project priorities and provide advice and counsel on fundraising strategies and initiatives. You will utilize an entrepreneurial vision and available data to develop constituencies and identify prospects in relation to UCLA's Institute of American Cultures' (IAC) priorities and develop and maintain a portfolio of major individual gift prospects; organize and conduct meetings of volunteers and donors to identify new prospective donors for private support; and create additional vehicles and methods for identifying new prospects. In addition, as a Senior Development Officer, you will establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with appropriate individuals and offices at UCLA IAC and throughout UCLA External Affairs.Position Summary:This position will report to the LFL Director. Salary & Compensation:*UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
