ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Claims Advocate, you will be a vital member of our team, responsible for assisting clients throughout the claims process. You will be the bridge between our staff, clients, and insurance companies, ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and effectively. You will also provide guidance on complex claims and related issues. In addition, your role will involve investigating, processing, and resolving claims while maintaining exceptional customer service and clear communication. This position reports to the Executive Director of Claims Services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review policy language and offer a professional opinion regarding coverage, settlements, reserve practices, etc.
- Handle and work with carriers, staff, and clients on professional coverages, including D&O and EPL.
- Service and be the point of contact for assigned threshold accounts.
- Troubleshoot and consult clients on all P&C lines, including disputes or denials by the carrier.
- Understand, monitor, and be able to consult with clients on any Litigation Claims brought to Suit.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 5+ years of related experience.
- An Adjuster All Lines license with the Texas Department of Insurance.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office suite (produce charts and presentations in Excel), with an aptitude for learning new software and systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- Maintain an established work schedule.
- Must be able to build and maintain positive working relations.
- Follow agency and department procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- AIC, ARM, CPCU certifications
- Carrier, Agency, or Third-Party Administrator Claims Experience
- Applied Epic Experience
