The most crucial element for building strong customer relationships is providing exceptional service. At Watkins, customer service is more than just being courteous to our customers. It is a vital element of business operations because it impacts how our customers view our agency. For this reason, the Service Advisor role maintains a balanced and consistent workflow by completing various duties and tasks that assist in the servicing of a book of business. Service Advisors process applications for, changes to, reinstatement of, and cancellation of insurance policies and maintain files and records for each client or policy holder. In addition, Service Advisors may speak with clients to assist with basic and general insurance questions. Service Advisors work in Benefits, Commercial Lines or Personal Lines departments and work closely with a team. Service Advisors are not required to have an insurance license to successfully fulfill the role requirements. - Are you a team player? You will need to be easy to work with and be willing to help others. The agency's success depends on our ability to work together seamlessly.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as data entry, recordkeeping, and filing.
- Proficient computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook a plus.
- Experience with clerical work or providing customer service is preferred.
- Typing skills.
