Supervisor: Upper School Division Head
Position Status: This position is a salaried, exempt, full-time, regular, 10-month position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Teaching experience in secondary or higher education
Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Teach 4-5 sections of relevant class(es) in a seven-period schedule
· Teach a 1-week immersive, interdisciplinary class during Winter Term
· Work directly with other Upper School teachers as part of a professional learning community
· Advise students as part of the Upper School Advisory Program
· Attend scheduled committee and faculty meetings, both during and after-school
· Contribute to the larger school community by working carpool duties, participating in special events and open houses. We also welcome employees with an interest coaching and sponsoring other extracurricular programs.
