FX Operations Officer - Phaxis LLC

The Foreign Exchange (FX) Operations Officer is responsible for managing daily FX operations to ensure high-quality services for both new and existing customers. This role supports the Foreign Exchange Desk Manager with analytical and administrative tasks, assists in improving workflows, and contributes to client service initiatives for the Bank's foreign exchange business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify transactions in the FX and custody systems, prepare dealing tickets for foreign exchange transactions executed by the Treasury Department.
• Send transaction confirmations to customers and process daily or periodic foreign exchange reporting for clients.
• Maintain and update the FX system settings and accounting profiles.
• Analyze securities transactions, including corporate actions, applicable to foreign exchange transactions, and develop new workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• Strong PC skills in both Japanese and English (proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Access preferred).

Base Salary - $80,000-$100,000 depending on experience
