Position Summary:The Firebirds Hockey Team is seeking an experienced Game Presentation Manager to assist in the creation, production, staffing, logistics and execution of all home games held at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, CA. The selected candidate must have a passion for sports and entertainment and the experience to take our teams to the next level.
This Position reports to the Senior Director of Game Presentation.
This role will pay a salary of $70,000 to $75,000 and is bonus eligible.

This position will remain open until October 31, 2024.

- Act as primary stage manager during Firebirds Hockey Team Events at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, CA
- Schedule and manage game night staff including stage managers, promotional teams, public address announcer, hosts and Anthem performers
- Assist in the ideation and execution of in game promotional inventory
- Work closely with company departments to fulfill in game contractual needs
- Create, edit and distribute game day PA script to necessary recipients
- Department liaison to payroll for staff hours and compensation
- Oversee In Game Celebratory package program and execution
- Manage concourse tabling and entertainment initiatives
- Primary contact with event managers to facilitate in game needs and requests
- Establish and manage seasonal internship program and industry growth initiative
- Assist with departmental budget and necessary reporting
- Assist in the creation, planning and execution of game presentations, theme nights and special events
Candidates must have the minimum requirements to be consideration:
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of Game Presentation or related LIVE “show directing” experience
- Minimum 2 years of sports industry experience in a supervisory role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Communications, or equivalent
- Experience copywriting and the creation of production scripts
- Excellent interpersonal skills, steady demeanor in fast paced, high profile environments
- Very strong written and oral communication skills
- Availability to work extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google docs and other file sharing and collaborative methods
