Job Description
Space Protect is a critical training initiative within the United States Space Force (USSF) aimed at preparing space units for advanced tactical operations within a contested, degraded, and operationally limited (CDO) environment. This exercise represents a major milestone in the evolution of space as a distinct warfighting domain, reflecting a shift toward recognizing the strategic importance of space for national defense and international security.
As this team grows, we're looking for an Unreal Engine Artist. The Unreal Engine Artist position is a subject matter expert at creating stunning visuals and effects within Unreal Engine. This position will focus on the visual artist role of our simulation team, defining the vision and setting high quality standards for space analytics. The ideal candidate is passionate about making spectacular, jaw dropping realistic designs in Unreal Engine; relentlessly optimizing to get the best quality in a real time production environment. You have a rich C++, 3D modeling and VFX background, adept at integrating elements from traditional 3D programs, Adobe products and third-party products. You thrive in team environments and are comfortable making suggestions to clients on visualization.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
