Pay Rate: $22.68-$25.58 / hour (based on union scale)
Shift Differentials: Evening +$1.00/hr, Overnight: +$1.75/hr
Available Schedules:
-Monday - Friday: 6am-1:30pm
-Friday - Tuesday: 7am - 3:30pm
-Saturday - Tuesday: 1pm-9:30pm, Thursday:9:30am-6pm
-Saturday - Sunday: 6am-2:30pm

Summary:
The Valet parks and retrieves vehicles in the Horizon House parking garage and handles the corresponding paperwork either electronically or by hand, as requested. The Valet is also responsible for cleaning the garage areas and for washing and waxing vehicles as assigned by the Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Meets incoming cars, greets drivers and passengers and gives directions to drivers as necessary.
- Parks and retrieves vehicles for residents, guests and staff showing concern for their vehicles and using safe driving practices.
- Issues valet tickets for vehicles belonging to guests, visitors and employees. Ensures that all who park in the garage are charged accurately. Handles cash and makes change as necessary.
- Assists with loading and unloading resident and guest vehicles. Provides assistance to the elevators if necessary and as requested by residents, guests or management.

What We’re Looking For:
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certificates
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent (preferred).
- One year of experience in a customer service position;
- Must have a valid Washington State driver license in good standing; driving history clear of major moving violations and accidents; (We prefer experience in driving both stick and automatic transmissions.)
Knowledge/Leadership/Collaboration
- Working knowledge of Outlook; familiar with basic computer knowledge required.
- A passion for working with elders; Foster a friendly and inviting environment that establishes trust and rapport with staff.
